Kadia Dungar (Mountain) Caves half day picnic come adventure spot

Route: Surat- kamrej- ankleshvar- turn right Toward rajpipla - Turn Right from dahal- dharoli- bhojpor-turn right for kadiya dunger

Kadia Dungar (Mountain) Caves are located in Bharuch district in Gujarat at Kadia Dungar. The group has seven caves carved out in 1st and 2nd century AD on the mountain. The group includes sculpture of monolithic lion pillars. An architecture of cave shows vihara style construction. The site has brick stupa at the foot of a mountain. People believe that Pandavas had spend some time of there forest life over here.
Kadia Dungar Caves are approximately 100 KMs from Surat City. One can reach there via a car or a bus. The nearest Railway Station is Bharuch.
Near BY Gangdas Bapu ashram is also their, to reach cave we track through stairs which is good n people reach top of mountain without stair by own risk.

Gomukh (Gaymukh) temple, waterfall, interesting place for on way journey

Route : surat- kadodra- bardoli- vyara- songadh-turn right towrd Ahwa- (Now 2 road left for Subir/right for ahwa) - take left side  toward Subir - see board on road gaomukh -left side 4 km for Gaomukh

It is located on Gujarat-maharastra boarder.
It is 13 km far from songadh
Interesting thing is gaomukh garden is in maharastra border. and temple is in Gujarat boarder.
small waterfall runs mostly monsoon n post monsoon till diwali. some one say name of river is GuptGanga. 
Small temple of shiv and continuous water flow from mouth of cow so called as gaomukh.
to reach water fall take stair n goes their, few shop for shopping & snacks is their

Good things
  • you can spend 1-2 easily 
  • this place is on way journey to Dang (sabridham, girmal, ahwa etc)
  • bath under waterfall 
  • family entertainer place 
  • chiildren can use garden but not well maintain 
  • visit monsoon mainly AUG-OCT for waterfall

  • it is religious place so not many other facilities

Mangi tungi hill : Hiking with historical and religious prominence

Mangi-Tungi is also an ideal spot for hiking.Around 3,500 (7,000 Up & Down) steps lead to the foot of the peak, which is enriched with several monuments of historical and religious prominence

Mangi Tungi are two hills belonging to the Sahayadri Hill Ranges in Maharashtra.This place is very old consists of two hills Mangi & Tungi are two cliffs of a single mountain these are named after two sisters Mangi and Tungi. Mangi is at a height of 4343 feet and Tungi is 4366 feet above the sea level. We can find 6 caves on the Mangi hill and 2 caves on Tungi hill.

Lord Rishabhanatha is believed to be the first Tirthankara in Jainism. In February 2016, one world's tallest Jain statue with height 108 feet(113 feet including pedestal) was inaugurated.
