Mangi tungi hill : Hiking with historical and religious prominence

Route: Surat-kadodra-bardoli- vyara-songadh- navapur, pimplner- mangitungi
On bardoli- navapur on tall road tall tax apply 115/- single side n 175/- return


Mangi-Tungi is also an ideal spot for hiking.Around 3,500 (7,000 Up & Down) steps lead to the foot of the peak, which is enriched with several monuments of historical and religious prominence

Mangi Tungi are two hills belonging to the Sahayadri Hill Ranges in Maharashtra.This place is very old consists of two hills Mangi & Tungi are two cliffs of a single mountain these are named after two sisters Mangi and Tungi. Mangi is at a height of 4343 feet and Tungi is 4366 feet above the sea level. We can find 6 caves on the Mangi hill and 2 caves on Tungi hill.

Lord Rishabhanatha is believed to be the first Tirthankara in Jainism. In February 2016, one world's tallest Jain statue with height 108 feet(113 feet including pedestal) was inaugurated.

Dandi Beach: a half day picnic spot with family

we spent half day with family

Positive point:

  • it is historical importance as DANDI KUCH for Salt satyagra by Mahatma gandhi
  • half day spent with family
  • small garden for sitting n playing for children
  • wafers namkeen n snacks available
  • parking is available but chargeable
  • Group entertaainmnet like play various games at beach 
Negative point


  • No clean water available after bathing in sea
  • No food available
  • No other entertainment activities for children

DON Hill satation: It is about journey Not Destination

Last year in July i visit don with friends at this time No word to explain just feel it n make memories in my heart

Route : This route for CNG lovers (No Trafic at this point)
Bze vansa CNG availble but minimum 5 car is in raw any time u go n wait for more than 30 min is sure so this is best CNG station on route n U get benifit of highway with quick return back


Surat- Kadosra On NH-8- navsari- Boriyach Tall plaza- kharel- chikhli make turn Left toward vansda- Ankit petrolium/online cng just 1 km from chikhli on way - Rankuva-vansda- waghai- ahwa- chinchli road- Morxira village- turn right toward DON

This is rainy day n awesome atmosphere

Baijnath temple Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati were married antiquity and historic importance

Baijnath is a small town on the banks of the Gomti River in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, India. The place is most noted for its ancient temples. Baijnath Temple, located at a distance of 19 kms from Kausani, is one of the tourist attractions in Uttarakhand  

In Kumaon region, Baijnath is amongst the famous place for its remote antiquity and historic importance.

this temple is very old and located on the banks of Gomti river Lord Shiva,Ganesha,Parvati,Sun God idols worship here,the temple is now become heritage built between 9th to 12 century A.D. where it is believed that Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati were married.

Built by the Katyuri kings there are ancient temples of Shiva, Ganesh, Parvati, Chandika, Kuber, Surya and Brahama. The Baijnath Temples dating back to the 12th and 13th century are constructed of stone. The temple complex exhibits the amazing architecture of the age. The main temple that houses the beautiful idol of Parvati is chiseled in black stone. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva and Parvati were married at the confluence of River Gomati and Garur Ganga.
