Route :

Surat- ahmedabad- kolkata- bagdogra- darjeling 

surat to ahmedabad by train 

ahmedabad to bagdogra via kolkata by air

bagdogra to darjeling by road (jeep)

on 12 dec reach 4:30 pm at YHAI base camp at darjeling 

reporting n then take dinner 

on 13 dec 

wake up n 6:00 am morning exercise 

after breakfast visit japaness temple 

return n take lunch then after orientation with Mr swami 

after tea shopping n bag pack for next day trek 

on 14 dec

we leave base camp n reach dhotri via Jeep 

trek start from dhotri to Tumling (2900 mt.) 7 km 

take hot lunch at tonglu 

eat tea n pakoda on way 

too much breeze with clear weather

 On 15 dec wake up at 5 am and see sun rise
take breakfast n pack lunch n leave for kalipokhri (3108 mt.) 13 km
it is too long trek with awesome atmosphere after lunch
reach kaliphokhri around 3pm n take hot soap with pakoda n tea

playing games n dumbshra with movie name adl e jahangir ...

on 16 dec

wake up n tak ebreakfasrt n move to sandakhpu (3636 mt) 6km uphiking 

reach sandakhpu n clear weather take lunch n goes for photo session n evening sunset 

on 17 dec 

wake up at 5 am n see sun rise n after breakfast 

move to gurdum from sandakhpu (2910 mt.) 14 km down side

on way dense forest of bamboo 

reach grudum n spend free time with play cards n chitchat 

on 18 Dec

after breaksfast move to Rimbik (2286 mt.) via shrikhola 13km

on shrikhola take lunch n river pictures

aftyer lunch move shrokhola to rimbik n finally fisnish our trek n celebration at night with gala dineer 

dance, DJ & masti 

share our experice with our group 

on 19 Dec

leave rimbik n reach darjeling base camp via dhotry 

we drop our guide Gopal n Bikram at rimbik 

darjeling take our luggage n shopping at darjeling market n leave for siliguri

check in at hotel at 5 pm at debjyoti hotel n visit bidhan market 

on 20 dec

wake up n reach bagdogra airport for home 

delhi city from air

bagdogra to ahmedabad via delhi n then surat 

a memorable trip for us 

Jetpur-Kevdi : Eco Tourism camp site for picnic with family

Route: Surat- kamrej- digas- sampura- vihan- turn left toward kadod- mandvi- take first right toward kakrapar- dadwada village n turn left toward jetpur-kevdi
Total 5 Km road is weak

• Canteen with small pan corner where wafer, chocolate, pan-masala available 
• new tent is installed
• full of water in river 
• road is still same no update in road

Kadia Dungar (Mountain) Caves half day picnic come adventure spot

Route: Surat- kamrej- ankleshvar- turn right Toward rajpipla - Turn Right from dahal- dharoli- bhojpor-turn right for kadiya dunger

If u have google map then direct u go their otherwiase ask local for road.

Kadia Dungar (Mountain) Caves are located in Bharuch district in Gujarat at Kadia Dungar. The group has seven caves carved out in 1st and 2nd century AD on the mountain. The group includes sculpture of monolithic lion pillars. An architecture of cave shows vihara style construction. The site has brick stupa at the foot of a mountain. People believe that Pandavas had spend some time of there forest life over here.

Kadia Dungar Caves are approximately 100 KMs from Surat City. One can reach there via a car or a bus. The nearest Railway Station is Bharuch.

Near BY Gangdas Bapu ashram is also their, to reach cave we track through stairs which is good n people reach top of mountain without stair by own risk.

• came with family n enjoy nature
• ashram is thier for religious purpose n small activity zone for child
• few shop for kurkure n wafers
• best time AUG to MARCH

• No food availble at outside
• in summer difficult bze of heat

Gomukh (Gaymukh) temple, waterfall, interesting place for on way journey

Route : surat- kadodra- bardoli- vyara- songadh-turn right towrd Ahwa- (Now 2 road left for Subir/right for ahwa) - take left side  toward Subir - see board on road gaomukh -left side 4 km for Gaomukh

It is located on Gujarat-maharastra boarder.It is 13 km far from songadh

Interesting thing is gaomukh garden is in maharastra border. and temple is in Gujarat boarder.

small waterfall runs mostly monsoon n post monsoon till diwali. some one say name of river is GuptGanga. 

Small temple of shiv and continuous water flow from mouth of cow so called as gaomukh.

to reach water fall take stair n goes their, few shop for shopping & snacks is their

Good things

• you can spend 1-2 easily 
• this place is on way journey to Dang (sabridham, girmal, ahwa etc)
• bath under waterfall 
• family entertainer place 
• chiildren can use garden but not well maintain 
• visit monsoon mainly AUG-OCT for waterfall

Minus point

• it is religious place so not many other facilities
